Alfred M. Kwinter

Golding vs. Citadel Insurance - When 35-year old Mrs. Golding died suddenly of unknown causes, the insurance company refused to pay her husband the proceeds from her policy. After investigating, it was found that Mrs. Golding had been taking diet pills that contained PPH, a chemical that can cause cardiac arrhythmia. Alf Kwinter won the case as well as the appeal. PPH has since been taken out of all such diet products and ultimately, off the market.
