Jason Katz graduated from McGill University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He then attended Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business where he completed the joint LL.B./M.B.A. program in 1998. After articling with the law firm of Davies, Ward & Beck, Jason was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000.

In 2002, Jason joined the law firm of Singer, Kwinter where he has focused his practice exclusively on representing plaintiffs that have sustained personal injuries (e.g. motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, etc.) or are involved in a dispute with their insurance company (e.g. long-term disability insurance, life insurance, property insurance, etc.).

Jason has successfully represented clients at trial in the Ontario Courts. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates’ Society.
