We pride ourselves on hard work and success for our clients.
Singer, Kwinter takes great pride in their standards of excellence, both in courts, and in the office. They are aggressive in their approach to obtaining maximum compensation for their clients, yet are highly respected for the compassionate and understanding manner in which they take care of their clients. This winning combination helps to make Singer, Kwinter one of the premier Personal Injury and Insurance Law firms in North America.
The lawyers at Singer, Kwinter take pride in offering their services on a contingency fee basis, whereby their fees are only paid if the case is settled or is won at trial. The contingency fee agreement ensures access to justice for all, which is especially important when defendants are represented by insurance companies, with unlimited resources.
A Practice Built on Results
Alf Kwinter and Morris Singer became friends during their time at the University of Toronto Law School. Shortly after being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada, they decided to leave the firms they had joined and start out on their own. As the practice grew, it was decided that Morris Singer would concentrate on family law and commercial litigation, and Alf Kwinter would concentrate on personal injury and insurance law.
In 1990 the firm moved to its present offices at 1033 Bay Street, and currently has 7 lawyers including the two founding partners.
They are:
William A. McMaster, Elizabeth Julien-Wilson, Jason F. Katz, Jason D. Singer and Shane H. Katz.
The firm is supported by a large staff, consisting of law clerks, paralegals and legal assistants. As the firm's reputation has grown, so has its client base. Singer, Kwinter now represents clients throughout Ontario and is a resource for lawyers across Canada.
Today Singer, Kwinter is known for their strength in the courtroom, for winning cases, setting ground breaking precedents and for the kind and compassionate manner in which they service their clients.
If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident or has been faced with a denial by an insurance company, contact Singer, Kwinter and schedule your FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION.
